This would have been a book that I would have wanted right as it came out. Although Tunzi's books are all great to have, the fact that again it is b/w puts me off a litle. I don't mind b/w pictures, but photobooks about 70's concerts should be published in color ! Those pictures of Elvis under those stagelights, in those flashy jumpsuits get alive and are mostly awsomely brilliiant in color, while in b/w they are "nice" or "good", but will never be more than that.
Like Elvis once said: "If I would stand still while singing, the people could better stay home and listen to my records" (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? When I first saw the thread.I thought it was some kind of
Elvis musical (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I prefer the colour photos as well,Stefan. Thanks Lorraine -------------------- See How They Shine,Oh If You Need A Friend,I'm Sailing Right Behind

True,colour is better.
But,the first Tunzi where all in B/W and amazing. It's with the inclusion of the colour pages that the price went over the top,and i missed some since then... Maybe this one will be in the good price range, like his first volumes. -------------------- |

Agree Stefan, You just can't beat colour pics of our man, but i guess that seeing unseen pics in B/W is better than not at all. It is, however annoying, that most of Tunzi's books contain B/W versions of colour pictures. Why not release them in colour ? If the prices are higher, so be it. Surely it would compensate for the price if the books were full colour (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif)

That's exactly my point Chris. Imo the 50's pictures should be b/w where possible. It gives them an air off coolness if you understand what I mean. 70's pictures should be in color ... the time and circumstances as well as the clothing demand that.

The price is $ 45.95 (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/geek.gif)
And another $ 10.00 for the shipping. I would love to see the photos in color, anyone know who took the photos?
