Great show with Elvis in an extremely good mood. Good tracklisting. Reconsider Baby is brilliant and sounds much better here than it did on Collectors Gold.
'69 isn't my favorite live year, but this concert is high on the list of best shows he ever did. -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? Ah hell, I guess it's all part of showbusiness "~ Elvis in his limo on his way to perform in Omaha, NE on June 19th 1977

This is perhaps my personal favorite, of the live material FTD has given us. Elvis in good mood, grate shape vocally. The only thing i miss are Johnny B. Good and My babe, but that's not FTD's fault at all.
11 of the songs are Rock songs, and all are performed with energy. Even the 50's numbers wich only became scarf songs later. Even tough Elvis talks and jokes aroun very much, he has 100% focus. This is a man that want's to be back, and nohing is going to stop him. -------------------- The outer limit of your potential is determined solely by your own beliefs and your own confidence in what you think is possible |

I agree with Stefan and Tigerman, this is a great release, the sow is fantastic, the sound is fantastic and the songs are fantastic, a winner all around, 1969 and 1970 happen to be my favorite Elvis concert years also, so that adds to it, a great FTD release! Al

Great music. But all that stage banter drives me crazy.

This was the first cd I ever bought from follow that Dream. I like the concerts he did in 1969 because they sounded rough.
