CD1:
01 Microphone Dialogue
02 I Got A Woman/Amen
03 Karate Dialogue
04 Until It's Time For You To Go
05 If You Love Me
06 It's Midnight
07 Big Boss Man
08 You Gave Me A Mountain
09 Priscilla Dialogue
10 Softly, As I Leave You
11 Hound Dog
12 American Trilogy
13 It's Now Or Never

CD2:
01 Band Introductions
02 Bringin It Back
03 Aubrey
04 Band and Celebrity Introductions
05 It's Now Or Never
06 Let Me Be There
07 If You Talk In Your Sleep
08 Drugs Dialogue
09 Hawaiian Wedding Song
10 Jewelry Dialogue
11 Can't Help Falling In Love
12 Closing Vamp

Bringin It Back is sung by voice. Elvis sings bass in some parts
Aubery is sung by voice, Elvis recits the lyric.

This show is not complete, C.C Rider and Without you (Voice) was not recorded.
There is alot of banter on this cd, as in most 74 concerts. But this one is really sepcial. The famous Drug dialouge is one of them.

moody Elvis we have here. Still a fine performance in my book.

Some monologue may be offensive...they are coming from a man who has been unjustly accused of illegal drug abuse by the press.

The monologues should be listened to in their context!

Totally agree with you here Gordon. Musicaly a very strong performance and he delivers the goods alright (although I can live without the shouting in Let Me Be There (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/LSHIC.gif) )

I love Aubrey from this concert, very touching a la Softly As I leave You. Wonder why they didn't do that song more often? You Gave Me A Mountain is superb, especially the line "She took my reason for LIVING" which he praticaly shouts towards Priscilla I guess and also the Joke about Mike Stone, calling him a "stud" while talking about about his "Stutz" (Blackhawk) car is very funny. Wonder if Priscilla and Mike felt the same way (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/laughing1.gif)

Yes, people can say what ever they want about Elvis regarding this show. I myself never took offense, and sometime a man got to stand up for himself. Proffesional or not Elvis had alot on is mind at this period.

The spoken version of Mountain gives me chills, when he shout "she TOOK MY REASON FOR LIVING".
Maby the best ever version of It's midnight, and a splendid version of if you talk in your sleep. (Just to name a few)

Despite all of the talking is done its still a fine show. Elvis still sang great, I love the spoken version of "You Gave Me A Mountain", it seems like Elvis is talking straight to someone in the audience maybe.

Aubrey is indeed wonderfully sung and is a favorite of mine.

Elvis doesn't sing Aubrey. Sherrill Nielsen sings this song.

The Dessert Storm Cd's were on Ebay last week and I had the bid up until the last 50 seconds.
I hate it when people do that but It is one that I will find sooner or later. I just
hope that I am lucky enough to find one with good quality sound. (Maybe next time)

I was wondering... is it out on DVD also? If it is... I have not found it yet.

I am very happy to say that I got my Desert Storm Cd's Yesterday
and I very much enjoying listening to them. Many people said they were
not worth the money but for me... I am very happy with them.

I wonder who would tell you such a thing elvisgyrl. I now some people finds the banter on Dessert Storm unfalttering, but even if you do not like the Elvis speech, the strong performance on the show is worth the price alone.

I agree, besides all the speeches, the songs were performed well, a wonderful version of "You Gave Me A Mountain" but still to me its sad to hear, Elvis talking about the drug rumors, his relationships, etc..definitley one for every serious Elvis fan to have in their collection.

The song " I couldn't live without you " sung by Pete Hallin before Bringing it back exists as a soundboard recording but is edited (due space time??)

as far as I know the concert was released in 1993 as a complete audience recording on a 2 CD set called " Drug story" (label Elvis Presley Live Collection EPL 0017).
the song is included but's an AR.

Henk, you got me thinking. If I'm not mistaken this is the same song Mariah Carey did about 13 years ago. But the title on her cd is called "Without You". Am I on the right page here or is this a different song? I'm almost certain I have heard Voice do their version of that song............

It's Midnight is my favorite song from this cd, simply because you can tell he's singing it directly to Cilla, "Listen Cilla"
