Good show from his last Tahoe season. John Wilkinson isn't only playing Early Morning Rain, but also sings it. (" This is your last time son ... "). Interstingly Elvis cuts the intro to Love Me Tender and asks James Burton to play the exact notes as heard on the original '56 studio recording. (" Hey James. Let me tell you something. You go Da dar dar der da da da? See, that's nothing. You're better than Glenn Campbell so you ought to be able to do that ").
