Elvis seemd to be tierd of Vegas as early as January 71. the show runs a little less than 45 minutes. All the songs are performed pretty well, but not as good as the 1970 shows.

One big plus: this show features imo the very best James Burton solo during Johnny B. Good ... listen to that frickin' mean sound !!!

Show is indeed o.k., northing more, nothing less. Overall it's a show that won't impress anyone.

the management of the hotel asked Elvis (= commands) to do short shows because the people could spend their money with gambling in the casino's.

Got a question about this cd. On the cover it says 18 tracks, on this thread it say 20, on my copy there is actually 17 tracks. Does anyone have the original? If so, how many tracks are there actually?

The first three are all one track Matt. So 17 on your player would be correct

Prior to The impossible dream the band plays an instrumental version of the song "Coming home baby".
