Notes:

An above average early summer '76 concert. Elvis does sound a bit tired, his voice is nevertheless quite strong and clear. He even put some more effort in the oldies and adds "Blue Sue Shoes" and "Love Me Tender" at some unusual places in the set-list. Sound is very good for a soundboard, something we are familliar with from this label.

Not what i would consider the greatest cd from 1976, but - the excellent sound goes a long way to making it an essential buy. Nice enough, if sometimes uninspired concert. Cool all the same though

Bruce Springsteen
He was as big as the whole country itself, as big as the whole dream. He just embodied the essence of it and he was in mortal combat with the thing. Nothing will ever take the place of that guy.

I always liked this concert ... mabye it's the sound, mabye it's Elvis's performance itself, but this is one of the more enjoyable concerts from mid '76 imo. It reminds me of the of the better non-bullsh*t straight forward October '76 tour shows !

Strong show for the summer of '76 i.m.o. Pretty solid setlist also, and good sound. Can't complain.
