A small topic I used to have on another forum - just for the fun of it I might as well move it in here.

The idea is very simple - photos that were taken (almost) at the exact same time, only from two (or more) different angles.
Here are some of the 'findings' from the past from various people;


August 1956 - Florida.

They're correct on my "personal files" but when you try to fix many things simultaneously, something slips by... and I'm super lazy when it comes to actually checking things twice. They should now be ok, though.


Here's a new one; can't say anything 100% certain about the date but a wild guess would place it around October-ish 1958 in Germany.

Here's a new one; can't say anything 100% certain about the date but a wild guess would place it around October-ish 1958 in Germany.

I would say you're almost right. I would date them as October 1st 1958 ~ Elvis arriving In Bremen.

And I quite like how much 'distance' there is between the shots - the b&w one is pretty much front row, the color snap was taken some 20m from the stage. I cropped the shot a lot as Elvis would've only been a small dot in the full shot.

The last post shows a shot from the (basically) first 70s tour, and here's one from the very last - in fact, from Elvis' very last show in Indianapolis.
Again, the moment is not the exact same but should be pretty close judging by the pose and other small details.

But here's another that's pretty close - can't say the exact date for sure, but Philadelphia is a possibility; so that would be November 8, 1971.
