For all the fans, what is your Fav Elvis era!?

For me its the 1970s! His voice had such a strength and warmth. His grandiose style and image was the pinnacle of being a rockstar and entertainer. He was larger then life and truly amazing!

I became a fan at age nine in 1956 so I love all the eras as I lived through them...but the 70's are my favorite... as seeing him perform live in Vegas and on tour left such an impression on my mind and heart. The 70's ELVIS is the one that comes to mind first when I think of him. ♥

The 70's too...

He was every bit of a SUPERSTAR there...
Closely followed by the 60's and 50's

But in reality it's the total package that counts.. the 70's wouldn't be there to love without the previous years.
Boy, he really rocked through three deccenia!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy2.gif)

I like it all....but my mood takes me to different decades and Elvis "styles". The 69 and 70 sessions are the two that top the pile for me....so it would be tough to say 70s and leave out 69 and visa versa. If i had to chose...i really couldn't be without the '69 material...so i suppose i would say the 60s (IMG:style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif)

You know I started out loving the 70's (I still do) but, over the last few years there are alot of songs from the 50's that never really landed on the charts that I love listening to more than the 70's material. When you really stop and think about it, it seems most fans love the 70's material more than anything. I'm not sure why that is. For me it's obvious, the songs and the look mostly. The reason I like alot of the 50's material now, well, I can't really explain it. The songs from that era (alot of them) just take me to a place in my mind. It's hard to explain. I like it all though

I like the best of all years.
My favourite is the 70's.
Elvis was at his best on stage and in the studio.
There is more choice of music in the 60's but Elvis sounded happier in the 70's.

I like it all. But 70s edges it for me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif)

If there was a 68-72 "decade", that would do it for me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif)
