why the f**k they don't release a box set of 4 cd's containing the best of the movies (25 songs per cd would be good) with a cool booklet inside with pics and all that.....instead of one cd compilation or 2cd's compilation (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)
i'm tired of bmg same movie compilations!!!.....they always leave great songs out!! (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) always the same stuff!!
I think it's time to give movie songs (many of them)...the importance they diserve as there is really good stuff

It's nearly like a greatests hits album only from movies. Nothing new really, sorry. (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/LSHIC.gif)

Frank,

The soundtracks get so little attention from the label, and such unwaranted "Bad PR" from both critics and fans....I welcome releases like this one.....definitely on my "Wish List".

There is a lot of soundtracks that has not been released. To have Love Me Tender, Loving You, Jailhouse Rock etc again is so boring to collect. Why not release the ones that don't get a mention. There are good tracks that new fans haven't heard before.

I have kinda mixed feelings about this set. Looks like an OK collection, but it's a little too casual for me. A little bit of everything, but not much of anything. Released alongside the DVD campaign it might do some good though.

Just a thought - the only track chosen from "Wild In The Country", "Lonely Man", was actually cut from the movie. We know that it was filmed, so does this indicate that the DVD's will include extras like deleted scenes? Well, I guess that's too much to hope for. It would be nice if they finally got the DVD releases right though...
