I just listened to a rare 1960 Elvis interview on TV Land's site. I don't recall hearing this one before. It's by Tom Moffatt, who by phone speaks first to Tom Parker and then to Elvis on the set of "G.I. Blues". Take a listen:

For some reason my pc will not open the audio file - Are you able to record it and post an MP3 of the interview? Sorry Keith, it's an Adobe Flash Player file and I don't know how to rip that. Here's the path to it if that helps in any way? http://www.tvland.com/specials/elvis/audio...th=elvis_hawaii . If anyone can rip/convert that it would be much appreciated... around 4:20 Elvis says it's the last day of film shooting/maybe tomorrow morning?;
according to the book All shook up (1997 edition) by Lee Cotton the date should be 21 june 1960 then; this is the date with the royal visit from Thailand too. colonel snow -------------------- |
