I have this inner sleeve # 21-112-1 PT 56B and I wonder in which LP's it was originally released with so if anyone knows anything about it please let me know. Maybe someone has Presleyana V....I only have Presleyana IV and it doesn't say much about that inner sleeve.

The US inner sleeve 21-112-1 PT 56B, which Zesty refers to promotes Elvis' cassette tape catalouge. One side has 12 cassette covers starting with "Girl Happy" (PK-1018) and ending with "The Wonderful World Of Christmas" (PK-1809). The other side has 15 covers starting with "Speedway" (PK-1335) and ending with "Worldwide 50 Gold Award Hits, Vol. 1" (PK-6401). The most recent album is "Elvis As Recorded At Madison Square Garden" (PK-2054), which is no. 4 in the 3rd row.
Like I told Zesty when he asked me in a PM, I have that inner sleeve in two LP's: "Raised On Rock/For Ol' Times Sake" (according to Presleyana IV it came with 21-112-1 PT 54C or 57B). "Elvis Recorded Live On Stage In Memphis" (according to Presleyana IV it came with 21-112-1 PT 56D). Both records were bought second hand, so I can't be sure if the inner sleeves were there originally. Like Zesty the latest Presleyana I have is vol. IV in which this sleeve's release is unconfirmed. -------------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() "I'll Never Get Out Of This World Alive..." |

now I have an idea where to search:
I have the first US pressing LP Raised on rock and the inner sleeve 21-112 1 PT 55 B contains promotion for the 8 track tape catalog starting with Girl happy P8S 1018 till He touched me the back side (or first side?) start with P8S 1249 Christmas Album 1970 till I got lucky/Come on everybody with nr C8-5052. The next US LP (first pressing) I have is Today with inner sleeve: 21 112 1 PT 54 D. promoting several LP's my first pressing US LP Madison Square Garden has inner sleeve 21-112-1 PT 54 F. I have not located 56 B in my collection. I'm not an expert with these inner sleeves but I think that they were used in limited editions and re-print when they want to promote Lp's or tapes. it is strange that Today (with 54 D) is used in 1975 while MSG(with 54 F) is used in 1972. 55B is used for Raised on rock in 1973. I think they used what they had in stock/want to promote. colonel snow -------------------- ![]() |
