On 12 april 1967 the screenplay written by Philip Shuken for Speedway was still called “Pot Luck”.
Submitted title song for the opening A driving man (selected song for this spot "Road to success"). I’ve no more information about the song.

Ain’t funny
The song was written by Joy Byers in 1962; the demo version was rejected by Hill and Range.
The song was recorded later on november 1962 by Gerri Granger (Big bop 45-3128). For the other side of this single she recorded “Don’t want your letters” = Return the sender with different lyrics.

Any town is home to me
The song is written by Bennie Benjamin and Sol Marcus. Both also wrote Anyone (Kissin’ cousins) and Lonely man (Wild in the country) for Elvis.
I’ve not found a connection with a recording session or movie in the 60’s. The song is not registered at ASCAP.
