I tought that was pretty normal Gordon. Why use August 1970 pictures on '72 releases etc. You need go no further than offical albums to find pictures from another year and such. Check example "Elvis in concert", "In Person" and "Aloha from Hawaii".

Crying time was previously released in 1992 on CD: Long lost and found songs (label Vault rec. 1020 CD).
the CD Long losta nd foun songs was based on a 1985 LP release with some extra added songs for the CD.

in aug. / sept. 1973 some live rareties can be found:
6 aug. 1973 opening - Raised on rock - Memphis Tennessee
7 aug. 1973 midnight - Faded love
8 aug. 1973 midnight - Make the world go away
11 aug. 1973 dinner - It's over
11 aug. 1973 midnight -Tiger man only
14 aug. 1973 dinner - I got a woman/Amazing grace/Amen
25 aug. 1973 dinner - It's a matter of time
28 aug. 1973 midnight - What a friend we have in Jesus
3 sept. 1973 closing show - Softly as I leave you (spoken version)

I think the same way Gordon..if i was doing it i would try and use a picture from the show on the cover of that concert, if no pictures, then i would search for some from around that time period..but using a picture from 1975 from a 1973 concert is pretty dumb if you ask me .
