hello all!!!

well recently i have been lucky to get my mits on two gems: elvis on tour unreleased footage (3 hours length) and ttwii un released footage (24 hours length)....

there has been many rumours on the net and thought ,as im lucky enough to own both explain the truths and let you know my opinions.

firstly i will start by 'reviewing' the on tour footage

How long have we been waiting for this? (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) and finally ,finally! someone has got it out of those dusty vaults (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) .When first viewing the dvd footage i was shocked by just how amazing the quaility both audio and video wise (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) .

It was truly amazing,the good thing is some of the footage has a little timer on however it is small.....and other footage is without the timer (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif) .

K so onto the footage itself,well what can i say truly jaw dropping stuff!!!!! this footage really sheds a new light on elvis.In the sense we see him just generaly clowing around with friends.Its almost as though Elvis doesnt know the cameras are there,if you get me (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/woohoo.gif) .

The dvd contains footage from 3 possibly 4 days of elvis in the studio rehearsing the on tour song line up.Also the hampton concert entire concert.To be honest i have so far only been able to watch some of the footage (i mean with having 24 hours of ttwii to watch (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/wiggle.gif) can u blame me)

I have took the time to post a few screen caps to give you a idea of the quaility and have also added a little description of whats going on in the scene.

guys if they really wanted to and took the time to pull their finger out, with the footage ive seen it would be ever so easy to put together some nice deluxe editions.....but remember guys we are dealing with epe here (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) we are reduced to buying un-official releases to get the REAL stuff we want, and thats wrong (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) .

I'm sure they could make a monster release, if they wanted to! However, it's not EPE we should be after here. It's Turner who's got the rights to all of this material. The fact that some of it is now turning up unofficially could maybe indicate that Turner have dug it out of their dusty valts for release consideration? Why, oh why don't they get together with BMG and agree on releasing DVD and CD box sets at the same time? One would promote the other. Let's keep our fingers crossed! It`s all about money, it cost more to make the movie for us fans that they will take in, so in a way we must understand them.

I have a friend that payed over 5000 us dollar for around 40 hours of outtakes from on tour and ttwii, the quality are excellente, so the real thanks should go to somone like him, they who made the first stepp, not the sellers that let you have a 2nd-3rd poor copy for a high price.

But... i do hope this will come out from Turner as a official release one day (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/cheers.gif)
