On this release the concert is not complete: Love me - All shook up - Teddy bear/Don't be cruel -
You gave me a mountain - Introductions with instrumental solos are missing. it is not on the right speed. the concerts lasts more than 80 minutes; it only could be released as a 2 cd set in it's entire colonel snow -------------------- |

Listening to this currently. Kind of strange at the beginning Elvis goes into Can't Help Falling In Love and pretends to end the show there.
Despite this being an audience recording, it sounds great, and so does Elvis. His voice sounds so powerful in songs like How Great Thou Art, that was the highlight for me. Nice bonus songs, make for a pretty good cd ! |

I have this concert on CDR for years now (the complete 84.28 minutes that the show lasted ) in MUCH better sound than the above cd.
It, indeed, is a great, if not in parts brilliant, show from our man. The 1st version of Can't Help Falling In Love is actually very beautifull and not as rushed as the "closing" versions. In another thread we're talking about the practical jokes of our man, well this is one that fits right in. It must have been some sight to see him leave after the 2nd song , only to see him return with the words "I don't know what happend. I thought the show was over" This is probably the best December '75 Vegas show in my opinion. All songs are sung with care, passion and enthousiasm in a great voice. Just Pretend is like hearing a '70 version. Another thing to note is that My is, for the last part, actually a duet with Shaunn Nielsen. (I get the impression that Elvis even gives his mike to Shaun at one point ), the outcome is beautifull. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Memory Records recently released this show (most of it anyway) on their Las Vegas Moonlight Check that one out, you won't be disapointed ! -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? Ah hell, I guess it's all part of showbusiness "~ Elvis in his limo on his way to perform in Omaha, NE on June 19th 1977
