(IMG:http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y180/imleaving/memoriesfromkalamazooback.jpg) Memories from Kalamazoo Genre: live recording Format: Soundbaord Sound: Good Tracks: 12 Playing Time: 31:28 Recorded live: Kalamazoo, MI, April 26th 1977 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01 Love Me (2:43) 02 Fairytale(false start only) (0:32) 03 If You Love Me, let Me Know (2:55) 04 You Gave Me A Mountain (4:15) 05 Jailhouse Rock (2:07) 06 O Sole Mio(Shaun Nielsen / It's Now Or Never (3:37) 07 Big Boss Man (3:06) 08 Heartbreak Hotel (1:49) 09 Blue Suede Shoes [audiosample] 10 [b]And I Love You So(long false start / microphone problems) (1:39) 11 And I Love You So (3:22) 12 My Way (4:05] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Notes: Incomplete soundboard from Elvis's April/May '77 tour. This is one of the weakest 1977 performances and defenately nowhere near the excellent Ann Arbor performance from just 2 days prior. Both tracklisting and sound are pretty good. -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? Ah hell, I guess it's all part of showbusiness "~ Elvis in his limo on his way to perform in Omaha, NE on June 19th 1977

Agreed Stefan. It isn't one of the better '77 shows but still nota complete wash. My Way was performed well as usual, and also a few others like And I Love You So, Heartbreak Hotel.

Another note regarding this concert. It is also released on Fort Baxter's latest "Shaking Up The Great Lakes", imo, it has better sound than the "Memories From Kalamazoo".

Soundsample of "Blue Suede Shoes" added ! That's corect ! 'O Sole Mio - It's Now Or Never' and ' If You Love Me (Let Me Know)' were both featured on FTD's 'Spring Tours' cd. Did you receive this one already ? What are your thoughts on it ? -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? I found it sad that he quickly stopped fairytale guess he forgot the lyrics and just went on with If You Love Me.. (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif)
