IMG_5872.JPG ( 1.02MB ) Number of downloads: 9 Too bad, That's a great album! When was "Elvis for Everyone" recorded? 64-65? The cartridge format was just about dead at that time. I'm listening to my copy of "Blue Hawaii" cartridge right now on a restored RCA 1959 SCP-2 "Stereo-Orthophonic High Fidelity" cartridge player/recorder. Sounds great! Never get tired of the Elvis albums. Jim |

Wow!!!!!!! Where did you find all those great images? Box cover, Back & Label _ Amazing!!!! I'll be busy tonight making Cartridges of All 3. I just bought the Stereo version of Blue Hawaii LP today. Guess all three Elvis cartridges really exist and not Just a rumor. I'm so happy!!!! Thanks. Wonder if hi-res scans of other cartridges are out there?? I have several pre-recorded RCA, Bel-Canto & Stereomatic cartridges I collected when they could be had for a few bucks each. Not much luck on ebay for the past year as one bidder is buying up everything. Jim I am glad to help you Jim......you have done a great job again on the covers! I know that this is an old thread, but if there is still any interest in this subject, I used images from other sources and from this forum and reworked them. Originally it was something I did to see if I could pull it off, but after holding onto the images for almost a year, I have decided that I didn't want this work to go to waste. I have created a page on my site:
http://www.elvisrecords.us/tape-cartridge-magazines/ I have images displayed on the site with links to download zip files containing larger images so that you can use them as you should desire. I am giving back as my appreciation to such a great forum. Depending on the bandwidth and abuse, the download links may be temporary, but for now, I don't have plans to remove them. Thank you and enjoy. -------------------- |
