I love the songs, but it's mastered too damn loud for my taste. No warmth. Elvis for the MTV generation.

A highly-recommended purchase for your collections. It's wonderful to have all the songs from this classic soundtrack all together plus some out-takes. The two Ann-Margret solo efforts namely, "Appreciation" and "My Rival" are not included here but we do get all her duets with The King including the lovely "Today, Tomorrow & Forever". Great Cover and packaging too!

I love the songs, but it's mastered too damn loud for my taste. No warmth. Elvis for the MTV generation. Always thought that the sound was great on this release (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif) -------------------- Regards Shaun

The climb the original recording was made by The Coasters on 31-07-61 for Atlantic records. colonel snow I had made no type error but two other sources (including a booklet with a CD) give a recording date as 31 july 1962; I think this is the right date. colonel snow -------------------- |
