http://www.grammy.com/nominees?genre=15 Great News. Let's hope he wins it. Trouble is McCartney always seems to win everything he is nominated for as he always appears to collect the Award in person and that adds kudos to the show. Brian (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) |

Just heard that this Award will not be televised as part of the Grammy Awards Show. It may be that in the circumstances, McCartney may decide not to attend. This is good news for Elvis.

An absolute travesty. The Grammies are nothing more than an exercise in publicity generation. As soon as I saw that McCartney was going to be in attendance at the Awards I knew the result then. The only way Elvis is going to get a Grammy is when the Beatle Dynasty has died out. It is apparent that the music Industry in the U.S.A. does not value their own legends.

What a joke once again by the grammies. But, haven't we bcome used to Elvis being slighted by the media, especially in the USA? Elvis has always been a person of ridilcule ever since he came on the scene in the 50's. IMHO, Elvis has never received fair treatment here, especially when it comes to his music. It's too bad because a great deal of Elvis' work is creative and even ground breaking, especially when it comes to his early work. We who appreciate Elvis know the truth and at the end of the day, that's really all that matters.
