Both live and studio Polls...lets see which era we fans prefer (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif)

Live...no contest for me...the 70's....

Studio....well...my favourite has to be 1969. But with so many cool songs in the 70's...its not an easy decision..... (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/crying.gif)

Has to be 60's... (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/cheers.gif)

Well, I am doing really good this morning. First I clicked backwards (anyway to change my votes around, Chris? (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) ) and then it wouldn't let me post.
So anyway, I wanted to vote for studio 60s and live 70s.
Studio because of the already mentioned awesome 69-sessions.
Live because the 70s was the time when Elvis perfected his performances.

Sorry for the mess, I guess I shouldn't post early Sunday morning. (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

I just had to vote 1950's in both catagories, because of all the raw excitement of those years, but I love all eras... (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/woohoo.gif)

The 60's got my studio vote. with the 70's and the 50's pretty close to each other. The 50's are to important to just forget, but i think i would give the 70's the second lace.. No, im not sure. The 60's win anyways.

As for Live years, this is terrible hard, but i must give the 70's the notch, i love Elvis vegas engagement in '69, but there wwas to few concerts, so i will give the 50's the second place and the 60's the third.

I think i would have given the 50's the first place if not for Elvis fantastic live year 1970, i must give my vote to the 70's simply because of the year 1970. Elvis concerts from 1970 - 1974 where all grate, with the exception of some tame '73 concerts. Give me more 50's concerts and i might change my mind.

But in all honestly, these years are unmatched in the live catogory: 1956,1957,1969 and 1970, with '71 coming pretty close.

I voted for 60's in the studio. A wide variety of songs recorded in the 60's.
I love the ballads in the early 60's and late 60's.
I wanted to vote for Elvis live in the 70's. I like the early Las Vegas years too.

Live----70's - all years have different element that I just love

Studio------i'm not really into that....but i just love the 70's repertoire because of the modern sound plus much of this is underrated and i love to listen to something different (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Though I voted for the 50's in both catagories I agree with you about his voice in the early 60's - he had gained total control over it by the time he returned from the army and sounded great!

Welcome to The Kings Court! I hope you'll like it here... (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/cheers.gif)
