Hi all,
I have these records and thought they might be rare. Or hard to get by. Am I right or are they nothing special? Hope you can help! CBC

The For Elvis Fans Only is a very rare LP. ( and indeed CD)....Infact the only really "nothing special" LP IMO would be The Hillybilly Cat which was a kinda budget release. The rest are nice collectable LPs. From memory that is...i don't have much to do with LPs nowadays (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif)

all the LP's were treasures at the time of release but now all is available on CD (in better quality sometimes)
they are now for the die-hard collector. Shock rattle and roll was the first release with the 3 april 1956 Milton Berle show For Lp fans only contains the extended tracks of some songs taken form the cassette version of the 8 LP set Elvis Aron Presley; to fill up the cassette tapes RCA made these versions longer and releases them on cassette only. I'm leavin ' = 23-08-74 M concert and released on Vegas birthday party etc. The hillbilly cat is one of the 2 released LP's by Music Works in 1984; both LP's were put together and released as Hillbilly cat live on the Louisiana Hayride label and soon afterwards by RCA. Live in Dallas is the 1975 concert taken from the 8 LP set Elvis Aron Presley and is a dutc fanclub release. The Inteview Lp is one of the many from the 80's. I think the value of each LP is around 20 till 30 euro and the interview LP has a value about 10-15 euro. colonel snow -------------------- |
