________________________ As (most) always with this label the sound is pretty good, the artwork very classy and well done. Elvis performance is good too.. but the only stand out is "Funny how times slips away" in the middle of the show, that's about the rarest thing in this concert. Not that's it's a bad performance, it's very good, but i expected more, certainly since there are only two songs done after the lengthy introductions. Or as our buddy Stefan said so wonderful: The quick leaving syndrome. A cd for the collector.

Actually it's called the 'Quick Closing Syndrome' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/LSHIC.gif)
Indeed it's a real decent concert from a very uneven tour. 1977 concerts have always been a 'guilty pleasure' of mine and this show isn't an exception. Sound is above average and Elvis is in good voice (for 1977). -------------------- "How do I get placed in situations like this? Ah hell, I guess it's all part of showbusiness "~ Elvis in his limo on his way to perform in Omaha, NE on June 19th 1977

QUOTE Actually it's called the 'Quick Closing Syndrome' Yes, i knew it was something like that buddy... i came close anyway... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking0001.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking0001.gif) Compared to the pre 1975 shows, the tour-ones from '77 al run over the hour, it may include the lenghty introductions, but there is solid music enough to enjoy the performances. -------------------- |

It's not an essential release or cd, but you can do worse by investing in this one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif) -------------------- |
