Notes:

This is the infamous "sprained ankle" show. Because of spraning his anke just before showtime Elvis is a) late B) sluggish (to say the least) c) totally not with it. Up untill (and including) Sweet Caroline this show is not even mediocre. After Sweet Caroline the show quality improves and by the time we reach How Great Thou Art it even can be called decent. Not a memorable night for either Elvis or the fans in attandence.

* Blue Suede Shoes is missing between Trying To Get To You and Fever

Thanks, I knew that (forgot to mention it) because I have "In Free Fall" which contains the same concert with Blue Suede Shoes. Am only not sure if that release is a real pressed cd or a silver cdr ?

Will have to check this one out again. I haven't played it in some time. From memory, the sound is pretty good for an audience recording....and i thought the show was ok...maybe the memory is playing me up somewhat

Well, the beauty is that everyone can have his/her own opinion of a certain show Chris. Musically and voacally this is simply a bad show, just like I have written above. But, personally I kinda like this concert. It again shows that despite the circumstances and the obvious pain he was in, he wanted the people to get their money worth.

Gee, could that be a reason for the man having so many fans

In addition Fever beginning is incomplete along with the Closing Vamp.

In Free Fall is a CDR.

The Winter Season In Las Vegas Volumes 1 to 15 (all 2 CDR sets) are the most complete sources availible. The sound is decent.

While it is true that Elvis had a series of "problems" during this season of shows, yet they were very entertaining. He did a large variety of songs even revisiting "I Just Can't Help Believin," "Sweet Caroline," "Such a Night," "Reconsider Baby," and others. This seemed to carry over into the late December tour of 1976. That tour was arguably, one of his best tours of the later 1970's.

Couldn't agree more Memphis man! I'd even go as far to say it was one of his best tours of the 70's ~!

I LOVE this show - one of my favourites - interaction between audience and Elvis is terrific
