Yes but almost completley useless now that we have both the Greesnboro concert and hampton roads.

Besides, i like watching the movie rather than litening to it. But a ok cd if you really must have everything on audio format.

When I delivered papers about 10 years ago I had this cd coppied to tape and listened quite a lot to it on my walk-man when delivering papers .. the good ol' days. I just loved Johnny B. Good and Bridge Over Troubled Water.

Me too Stefan......not delivering papers ...but this is one of the most played Cd's i have. In past years before the Madison releases...and before i got hold of a good On Tour DVD...this was a great CD

" Elvis On tour " inspired a lot of people to make an import:

1980 - LP On Tour (label Amiga 37 20 20)
1987 - LP On Tour (label Lisa rec. LMP 7201)
1987 - LP Standing room only (label Laurel rec. 8772) >>very good stereo sound

1990 - CD On Tour (label AJR 80379-1)
and some more counterfeited Lp/CD's

incidently parts of the movie were availabe on other LP's/CD's like Rock my soul etc.
basicly often the same material taken from the movie.

US Airforce song aka The army aircorps song

Elvis sings a one liner during the carride in the movie On Tour after Burning love >>

"Off we go yonder in the wild blue sky"

the original version I've found was recorded 10-11-39 by Dick Powell & The Norsemen Qt for Decca 2975.

The lighthouse

the song was done during a rehearsel on 31-03-72 by The Stamps Qt; here it is edited; the complete version can be found on the CD Complete On Tour sessions vol. 2 besides other rehearsed lsongs by the Stamps Qt like When it's my time - I should have been crusified.

For their 1972 LP release Something Special on the label Heartwarming records the Stamps Qt recorded: The lighthouse -
When it's my time - I should have been crusified.
