A smashing 1956 picture have just been uploaded as next weeks picture.
The photo was takem March 26th 1956, when Elvis signed contract with Hal Wallies I am and still will be a 70s freak, but I think it is fun to see pictures from the 50s, and it is so much i have not seen, so i don't even know if the picture is rare or not. I have just started to trade with a 50s freek, we are kind of trading places, he gets 70s scans from me, and i get 50s from him, a new world have just started for me ;-) Anyhow........ I will try to do that Jouni, but it is 70s for me you know, and i feel much more comfortable when i talk about something i know much about, so the 70s shots will be used more ;-)
But I will use the 50s much more from now on :-) -------------------- |

Alright... it took some searching, but I knew I had seen pictures of the same photoshoot before. I managed to find four alternates + two candids.
First, I don't know where the 'March 26' date comes from, but if my infos are correct, ALL the following pictures are from the same date; The day when a contract with Hal Wallis was announced; April 6th, 1956. The contract was apparently already signed on April 2nd, but a press conference of some sort to announce it was held on the 6th (which is the day when all the pictures were taken). ... It appears, though, that the date for the shots is not 100% confirmed... Publicity shots...
