Rejected songs
A lot of songs were offered for recording by Elvis. Most of the demo's were rejected and even not recorded. For some scenes in a movie several songwriters were invited to write a song for a certain scene. Elvis and /or the director made a choice whiche one was fit for recording. Here I'll add all the information I come across. colonel snow -------------------- |

Spinout
Here a scan from acetate with demo versions by Tepper-Bennett writing team. The first ones were recorded for the movie Spinout. It seems that Travelin' light was recorded by Cliff Richard. It is out of my interests to look for more information about that. colonel snow

Fallen angel
According to a scan of a letter in the booklet from The Complete 50's Masters Steve Sholes sent on 22 dec. 1955 a demo record to Elvis with this song. However it was not recorded by Elvis. I have found several artists which recorded a song with this title between 1954-1957. I don't know if they all recorded the same song as I have no information about songwriters and composers. Here scan from Sun 201 with Hardrock Gunter. colonel snow
