It happens every year (Michael Robert Jarrett)
With an edited 1 st verse and re-written lyrics the song is recorded with the title “I’ll be home on Christmas day”. Copyright for It happens every year 21-01-71.

Other songs by Michael Jarrett with copyright on the same day:
Chute No 2 - Chasin’ money - All goin’ down together - Morning of october.

It’s unknown these songs were offered to Elvis for recording early 1971.

Rejected song written by Wise-Starr. The demo version is sung by Jerry Keller.
(see upcoming Randy Starr CD's)
The song was marked as the new title song but through the change into Paradise Hawaiian style the song was not used.

The song is written by Randy Starr for the movie Speedway.
(see upcoming Randy Starr CD's)

The demo sung is by Kenny Karen for scene 130 – sung to Ellie near the station wagon. Finally replaced by Your time hasn’t come yet baby – track 2003-1.

The chautauqua (march)
1959 – manuscript based on novel written by Day Keene & Dwight Vincent titled (The) Chautauqua
(part 1 – 217 pages / part 2 – 181 pages)

The song The chautauqua is written by Randy Starr for the movie “The chautauqua”. The demo is sung by Kenny Karen but not used because the title of the movie was changed into “The trouble with girls”.
(see upcoming Randy Starr CD's)

Another selected version was written by Buddy Kaye and Ben Weisman for the movie.
Demo was sung by Glen Campbell (see box 24)

Elvis never added his vocal to the instrumental track as recorded on 23 october 1968.
This song is registered at ASCAP with publisher Gladys Music.

It’s unknown the song was selected for a recording session (early 1962) by Elvis.
The song was recorded late 1962 by Lou Johnson (Big Top 45-3127).

The song is written by Layng Martine jr.
The original demo made for Elvis wasn't used.
The song was recorded 25 april 1976 by Tanya Tucker for an album.
Cristy Lane recorded the song (title I’m gonna love you anyway) in november 1977 with a release on single in 1978 (LS records GRT 156).

According to an unconfirmed story the song was offered to Elvis for recording in the 60’s.
Registered at ASCAP.
The song is recorded in 1963 by The Speer Family for an album.

According to an interview with Freddy Bienstock the song was offered in january 1957 by Jean Aberbach to Elvis but he refused to record this song.
(Source interview on EIN).
An instrumental version was recorded 16 january 1957 for the movie Loving you (track G take 6).

The song was written by Steve Nelson & Jack Rollins.

Reconsider me
The song is written in 1965 by Margaret Lewis & Myra Smith; a demo version was recorded for Ace label. There's a clip on Youtube.
In 1966/67 Elvis made a home recording but until now it is not released.

The song i written by Bob Nolan and recorded on 8 August 1934 by The Sons of the Pioneers.
(Decca 5047).
During the rehearsels on 20-21-22 August 1956 for the movie Love me tender this song was suggested by Ken Darby (musical director). Finally not used.

Remember that baby
The song is written by Billy Swan & Margie Singleton.

It’s not confirmed but based on copyright dates / other registrations by Margie Singleton for the movie Roustabout it’s probably a rejected song in the pre-selection.
No more information available.
