No more rumor and speculation. Following is a statement from The White House press secretary, issued during the president's visit to Iraq:

The two leaders will visit Graceland Mansion, home of the Presley Family. The President and Mrs. Bush look forward to introducing the Prime Minister to the beauty and warm hospitality of the people of the Volunteer State.Source: EPE -------------------- |

No more speculations about that. I can just imagine how tight security is going to be when they arrive

The Japanes PM is a great fan, I am glad he gets to go. I read somewhere that he said, that when he listens to Elvis' voice, it relieves his fatigue. Isn't that nice?

My first thought was along the lines of "Oh no, what's that Bush clown going there for?", but then again we should probably try to leave our political views out of this. No matter if you like Bush or not this will give Elvis and Graceland some of the most massive publicity ever. It's not every day that a president and a prime minister go to visit a king. The visit will be covered on every single station you can think of, which must be a good thing...

Sure hope George W has to pay the same fee the fans pay to tour Graceland.

Like Michael said, this will be great publicity no matter how we look at it. Let's just hope that Bush behaves himself and doesn't make any of those stupid remarks (that he calls jokes) that he's so famous for.
