I HAVE A MUCH BIGGER PROBLEM WITH KINGS COURT

THIS REALLY IS SERIOUS
When I go to the Kings Court -- GALLERY...
to view all the lovely Elvis Pictures.......
MANY I HAVE THE DATE, PLACE, TIME, PERSONS NAMES IN PHOTOS,
DETAILS OF THE ELVIS FAN OR OTHER TAKING THE PHOTO,
AND MAYBE EVEN A STORY OR TWO ABOUT THE EVENT.

NOW !!! Firstly you have this little Box to P O S T comments.
SOooo!! I posted a few comments, infact quite detailed comments.
So after I have POSTED my comments ~ WHAT HAPPENS TO IT????
It doesn't seem to be with the Picture for other Fans viewing the Picture Gallery!!!

Even I can't read my Mini Masterpiece any more, does this section have a hidden button I haven't Found??

Also would you say once I have posted my comment, that this should become an active post for the Day,
which should be viewed with all the other active comments, from the News Forum, All Elvis Forum, even Off Topic Non Elvis forum.
Since it doesn't have any place to view it - What is the point of placing a comment.

This post by myself, might be regarded as interesting to Kings Court Members, as any of my other posts I'm placing.
Certainly a higher percentage than say the Off Topic posts that can be read in the all active area for the day.

WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS??? -
Is there any point my working my way through all the photos I have info on,
for the Enjoyment of Everyone on Kings Court, if no-one is able to read them ???

Maybe no other KC members has EVER made a comment recently on any ELVIS
PHOTOS in the Gallery.

Would really like to hear your thoughts about this, before I add even more complete details to Everything...

You have to "add comment" rather than using post Rex....that way the comment will be under the picture in question. Sorry for the confusion...the IPB software works in strange ways sometimes (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/black_eye.gif)

One did say the picture now has 2 comments, but how do you or anyone read these comments, they seem to remain hidden.

Also I don't understand, why this now wouldn't be an ACTIVE POST which would then be seen by everyone in
TODAYS ACTIVE POSTS SECTION. I really feel if Elvis fans don't see it in this section the same day I have added my
comments and the story, EVERYONE WILL BE MISSING what I have said about the picture.

To be honest to have NON ELVIS "OFF TOPICS" in Todays Active Posts and not my ALL ELVIS COMMENT in the Gallery
just doesn't make sense.

SO IF THE PHOTO GALLERY IS HIDDEN FROM THE MAIN FORUM, DUE TO SOME STRANGE WAY THE WEBSITE OPERATES ????

Shall I drag each photo I want to comment on - into a NEW TOPIC on THE ALL ELVIS MAIN FORUM ???

Say to be called ELVIS PHOTO, the all New Information ~Updated !!!
and place each photo, one after the other as a new post in this new section with all my comments in one place about all the photos
Then every member will be able to read it, and or comment on it if they need to... (this could end up being as popular as the
Tell me about your Fav whatever.) also Fans could add more photos to ask for info about it.

JUST ONE OTHER THING.... WHEN I POST A COMMENT IN THE COMMENT BOX ABOUT A PHOTO
IT ISN'T COUNTED AS A NUMBERED POST BY ME FOR THE DAY.

THIS DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE ALSO, BECAUSE I CAN POST A CHAPTER OF PAGES IN A TOPIC
AND ITS COUNTED AS ONE POST BY ME FOR THE DAY.

AND THEN ANOTHER FAN CAN COME ALONG AND POST A SINGLE LINE COMMENT OF JUST A FEW WORDS
AND THATS COUNTED AS ONE POST BY THAT PERSON FOR THE DAY (which is fair enough)

TONIGHT I POSTED at least 8 LINES ABOUT A PHOTO (TWICE)
AND IT ISN'T COUNTED AT ALL.

THIS DE-VALUES YOUR AWARDS, AS IT ISN'T COUNTING MY PHOTO POSTS AT ALL,
YOU HAVE 100s of PHOTOS (MAYBE 1000S) THAT I WOULD HAVE SOME SORT OF AN OPINION ON...

Posting comments do show underneath the photo in question. If you go to the Gallery index and click on view recent comments you can see them ( as i can see some that you have added - appreciated ! )

Sadly, we have never quite been able to figure why the comments don't count towards your post count. They are set to do so in the admin CP. It is something that bugs me, but we are continually trying to improve things like this...sadly they are not always possible.

We try our hardest to make this a fun and friendly place to visit. It isn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination...but then where is. I will continue to look for a solution for the problems you have come accross....but at this moment in time that's just how it is.

You are more than welcome to start a thread similar to Your Favourite Pictures ..... and add information, should that be a short term answer.

I hope that this doesn't spoil your enjoyment of TKC too much.
