Are they a thing of the past now, I think their last release was Shaking Up The Great lakes in '06 IIRC...Do you think they've released on they have, and do you expect to see any releases from them in the future..we know they released all the classics first...

Might have said Fort baxter on the cover Bradley, but thats all they had in common. It certainly wasn't Fort Baxter ( as they used to be ) re-releasing them, as good as they were (IMG:http://elvis-tkc.com/forum2/style_emoticons/default/undecided.gif)

Thank you for the reply Shaun. To me Madison is the label to be in the bootleg world!

Thank you for the reply Shaun. To me Madison is the label to be in the bootleg world! Madison are there now IMO too. But at the time Baxter was around...they were the kings for certain. So much new and outstanding material released back in the early days. Always blew me away. Madison have done that too...for certain. But they haven't of late. New releases are still so much better than re-issues...regardless of the ( in some cases minor ) better sound. Thats not knocking Madison...i love what they have done... Agreed Chris on all counts..their artwork, the sound its all always A++++!!!
Be nice if we start getting some new unreleased stuff though instead of these re issues but I guess we are getting to the bottom of the barrel when it comes to unreleased material....think they (Madison) have a few tricks up their sleeves for the future..don't want to release it all at once.. |
