More great gospel outtakes.
A favourite of mine. Some oustanding alternates on this one....not least mine and You'll never walk alone....add to that the best version you will ever hear of Stand By me....how can you go wrong ??
Great outtakes of my favorite period of the 60's
Don't forget to mention the sound, it's outstanding
the versions on CD Stand by me vol. 1 & 2 are in mono; here we have the stereo tracks.

Fantastic Cd really love it.... great sound ..
My favorite period if the 1960's also...very nice tracks, crystal clear sound...one can't go wrong with this one
the first pressing of the CD had an error in track 6; the CD was replaced by FTD.
when you buy the CD now be careful.

Heard a couple of tracks from this during last Wednesday's Radio Show and picked up a copy for myself........Great release with some of Elvis' best late 60's material....A must for all Elvis Fans!!!
I was a bit slow in getting this ftd, hence getting the 2nd version with out the fault etc.
Its the man at his best, singing his fav type songs and having a ball in the studio.
Great stuff all round for me.
Together with RCA's "Tomorrow Is A Long Time" from 1999 my favorite and most played 60's albums !
I really love the Guitar Man and US Male outtakes together with my favoite gospel song from the How Great Thou Art album: Somebody Bigger Than You And I.
