This time i went for the album opener.."Santa Caus is back in town"

The ultimate merging of Christmas and Rock n Roll. As far as that goes....there has never been a better track released by anyone

I voted for Blue Christmas.
This a fans favourite and Elvis's too.
In the 70's Elvis sung Blue Christmas live in March 1976. (I think).

For me it has to be "I'll Be Home For Christmas".....A gorgeous and sentimental song that was a favorite amongst the American GI's when it was first released during the days of WWII.

Elvis' version is THE ULTIMATE version, IMO, and his best handled Christmas song from either this or the '71 LP......Christmas Perfection!

Santa Claus is Back in Town: Wonderful!! Those first three "Christmas"s oh how lovely, quick, get your colourful jumper on, lean of the fireplace, pick up your eggnog then ... spill it all over yourself as you hear "Weeeeelllllllllll....."
And the lyrics! Would make a reindeer blush, no need for Rudolph they'd ALL have red cheeks!

"Santa Claus Is Back In Town" - no doubt about it! It's not Christmas in my house before this bluesy classic has filled the rooms. I'm a real sucker for Christmas music and I'm always looking forward to getting my Christmas records out - we're getting close!

It came down to Santa Clause Is Back In Town or Peace In The Valley for me...

It has to be Silent Night for me.Always makes me cry when I hear it.It's beautiful to my ears Reminds me of my school days.Every christmas we went to church, it was not far to walk from my school
