Elvis-TheKingsCourt _ Elvis-tkc.com _ 9/11/01-9/11/06 ElviCities NOTICE

Posted by: Jordans-Elvis-World Sep 11 2006, 08:43 AM

Later this morning, the server will be switched off between:

8:46AM EST - 10:28AM EST

This will be done as a sign of respect for those that lost their lives five years ago.

And is our way of "hanging the flag at half mast"

So do not be alarmed if you cannot gain access to the server during this timeframe.

A photo memorial has also been placed at www.jordans-elvis-world.com

A fitting tribute. 5 years already..where does the time go. My thoughts go out to all those involved on that very sad day for the World.

Indeed...

....does that mean the tribute is over already?

A very nice touch, Jordan. My thoughts are with all those who lost someone on that terrible day 5 years ago.

The server down, due to the needs of various clients could only fit really into that appropriate window (8:46AM-10:28AM) of time.
Jordan's Elvis World, though, will continue to display the pictorial tribute on the main-page for the remainder of the day.

Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone that lost a loved one that horrid, horrid day.

Thanks Jordan the time difference puzzled me for a moment!

Just been to your site Jordan. A nice gesture indeed for what happened on that terrible day. Doesn't matter where you are from, the threat is very real. My thoughts go out to all the people/families who lost their lives...

That is a very fitting tribute you have on your site Jordan, the photos are stunning yet at the same time very sad. I love the way that you put the rememberence in different languages too. I can still remember that day very well. I had come home from work and my youngest son was watching the tv, I asked him what film he was watching and was very upset when he told me that it wasnt a film but as he put it was 'real life'. My thoughts are with all our American members today
